Tax Preparation

Prepare for tax season with a process you can see.

Individual returns prepared carefully, reviewed with you, and delivered through a secure portal, with every step visible so you never wonder what is next.

What we prepare

  • Form 1040 and state returns
  • Self-employment income (Schedule C)
  • Rental property (Schedule E)
  • Investment activity (Schedule D)
  • Multiple states
  • Prior-year, amended and late returns

Business entity returns

Partnership and S corporation returns (Forms 1065 and 1120-S) are being added for the 2027 filing season. If your situation needs them before then, we tell you plainly whether a coordinated approach or a different preparer fits best.

How it works

Seven client-visible steps. Your portal shows the status at every stage, for example Waiting on Your Information, Ready for Your Review and Accepted.

  1. Engagement

You sign a short letter that lists exactly what we will prepare and what it costs.

  2. Secure portal

Your EZ Financial Fitness Client Portal opens. Documents, questions and signatures live there, never in email.

  3. Organizer

A short questionnaire that shows only the questions that apply to you.

  4. Documents

Upload as they arrive, or photograph them from your phone.

  5. Preparation and review

We prepare the return and walk you through it, on a call when that helps.

  6. Signature and payment

E-sign the authorization in the portal and pay the invoice there.

  7. Filing and delivery

We e-file, confirm acceptance and deliver your copies to the portal.

Prior-year, amended and late returns

Some older years cannot be e-filed and must be signed and mailed. We prepare the complete package and the instructions, and we tell you which years still qualify for a refund.

Pricing

After filing

Filing closes the past. Planning secures the future. If your return showed a surprise, a large refund or a large balance due, the next conversation is about Tax Strategy, so next year is decided before it happens.
